Cell Phone vs. Bible

I was emailed this and thought it was pretty good. Think about this email when you pick up your cell phone. Try to do this all week long and see if it changes you any.

Cell phone vs. Bible

Ever wonder what would happen if we treated our Bible like we treat
our cell phone?
What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets?
What if we flipped through it several times a day?
What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it?
What if we used it to receive messages from the text?
What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it?
What if we gave it to kids as gifts?
What if we used it when we traveled?
What if we used it in case of emergency?
This is something to make you go....hmm...where is my Bible?

Oh, and one more thing.
Unlike our cell phone, we don't have to worry about our Bible being
disconnected because Jesus already paid the bill.

Makes you stop and think 'where are my priorities?
And no dropped calls! '

Trust in the Lord and ASAP (Always Say A Prayer)
Even though you can't see Him, GOD is there for you.

Wow. You've got me there... This is a real thought-provoker.

I guess that's what "hide its words in your heart" means. So, for instance, when unsure what to do, we turn mentally to "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him and he will direct your path."

Wouldn't it be great to have just the right verse (the right "number") for every situation? If we called the Lord as often as we call everyone else?
