Blogging

I guess I have a new hobby now- blogging. Now I know I have had this blog for about 5 months, but I have not been "blogging". I consider the activity of blogging where you go on other people's blogs that you don't know and leave messages. I am finding some very motivating blogs about exercise, diet, and aging, and I wanted to share one in particular with you. As I was doing my search for different physical activities, I came across this blog- http://www.maturefitness.blogspot.com/ This man is incredible! He has done about 40 marithons, countless triathlons, and is so good to share some of his experience with the rest of us. Go check him out. I will post other blogs from time to time.

I went to weight watchers right after my daughter was born (17 years ago). I lost all my weight easy and fast. About 3 years later I regained it the same way.

My Doctor who helped me lose weight told me that writing down what you eat (the method of weight watchers) is not a good method to lose weight. He asked me "are you planning to write down everything you eat for the rest of your life?"
I had never though of it that way. It did seem like a crutch.
His advice was you have to learn protion size, healthy eating, and EXERCISE,EXERCISE,EXERCISE.
No notepad needed.

( oh yeah I never liked that announcing how much I lost pound or ounce wise for applause )

Dee I'll have to check those sites out Thanks
