Ohio and Oklahoma

Today is our 19th day of prayer. We are praying for the leaders, churches, and Christians of Ohio and Oklahoma. We also are praying for a spiritual awakening across the nation, that the Gospel would be communicated across the full spectrum of American society and that Americans of all ages, races, and backgrounds would be drawn to Christ and receive His life and salvation. I found out about 20 years ago the difference between "revival" and "awakening". A revival has to do with people who are already Christians. Those that have put their faith in Jesus and follow Him as their Lord and Savior. You must already be a Christian to be revived. Awakening is when people for the very first time come to know Christ as Lord and Savior. There have been times in England and in this great country of ours that there has been an "awakening. And that is what we are praying for today.
